Puerta Vallarta is know for its all inclusive resorts and nightlife, but for the non-resort types there are other great reasons to visit. There are an assortment of day tours and adventure sports available in and around the town. While in PV for a wedding, few of us decided to spend a day on an ATV and Zipline tour just outside the city.
After transfer to the site and a quick orientation, we partnered up to start the ATV course. Naturally, I got paired with the fearless, lead foot lady, who was determined to get us as muddy as possible. Well it worked and by the time we finished the course we were gloriously muddy, with the only clean part of my body stenciled by my sunglasses.
After, we head to the jungle zip-line course. Having zip lined a few times already, I was impressed with the diversity of the course. There were regular lines, upside down lines, dropped lines, a repel and the longest Zipline in Mexico, for which you are strapped in superman style.
We had a blast and finished the day with a water slide (glad to finally wash off the mud!). They even offered a nice lunch oand the option to buy photos and videos.
It was great to get out of the resort and refresh in the jungle with some adventure. I would highly recommend Vallarta Adventures for some Zipline fun.
